Hi, I’m Jennifer
RNCP · CNE · 24 Years · Mom of 4
I help people heal at the root cause of what's making them sick — through whole foods, nature, and the kind of coaching that actually listens. I don't manage symptoms. I find what's really going on and we fix it together.
I can tell someone what to eat, but where my heart really is? In the kitchen with them, teaching them how to make food that heals. Or out in the forest, foraging for what the land provides. Or prepping a week of meals for a family who finally gets to eat without worry.
How I Got Here
I started doing this 24 years ago, long before "wellness" was an industry and long before anyone took me seriously for suggesting food could heal. Now the science has caught up — but I didn't need the science. I had the results. The last four years especially have been incredible. I stopped trying to help everyone and started specializing in the people that conventional medicine keeps failing — clients with celiac disease who were still getting sick from cross-contamination, people with histamine intolerance who couldn't find a single meal prep service that understood their condition, diabetics who wanted more than a pamphlet from their doctor. So I built something different. My kitchen is completely free of every common allergen — gluten, dairy, soy, corn, and nuts. Not a separate section. The entire kitchen. When someone with celiac eats my food, they don't have to wonder. They know.Today I prep meals for 10 to 15 families every week, coach people one-on-one (in person and online), run workshops and foraging classes in the beautiful Nova Scotia woods, and cater private events and weddings through Clean Plate Catering.Oh, and I'm raising four kids. So every recipe I recommend? It's been tested on the toughest critics imaginable.Credentials & Recognition

Body, mind, and spirit — not as marketing language, but as clinical method.
-
Every plan starts with understanding what your body is actually doing — food sensitivity testing, dietary assessment, and identifying the root causes of symptoms. Then we build a nutrition protocol specific to your biology, not a generic meal plan.
-
Knowing what to eat is 20% of the battle. The other 80% is your relationship with food, stress management, and breaking patterns that keep you sick. Jennifer works with clients on the psychological dimensions of dietary change — not just compliance, but transformation.
-
Through foraging classes, nature-based healing, aromatherapy, and Joshua's Jin Shin Jyutsu practice, we address the dimension of wellness that clinical nutrition alone cannot reach. Healing happens faster when the whole person is engaged.
